{"id":294,"date":"2026-02-12T09:25:41","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T09:25:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/venturepsychology.com.au\/?page_id=294"},"modified":"2026-02-18T14:32:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T14:32:15","slug":"feast-of-tabernacles","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/venturepsychology.com.au\/?page_id=294","title":{"rendered":"Feast of Tabernacles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the Feast of Tabernalces, God said ,&#8221;you shall rejoice before the&nbsp;LORD&nbsp;your God for seven days.&#8221; (Leviticus 23:40) How previleged we are to have a week-long celebration commanded by God! But what is this celebration about? It is about our past, present, and future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Past &#8211; Remember your salvation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We were saved by God&#8217;s mighty hand from sin. The Bible says, &#8220;You shall dwell in&nbsp;booths for seven days&#8230;<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>that your generations may&nbsp;know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when&nbsp;I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am&nbsp;the&nbsp;LORD&nbsp;your God.\u2019 \u201d (Leviticus 23:42-43)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Present &#8211; Living with Jesus at the present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Talking about Jesus (the Word), the Bible says, &#8220;And the Word&nbsp;became&nbsp;flesh and tabernacled among us, and&nbsp;we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,&nbsp;full of grace and truth.&#8221; (John 1:14)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Future:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We celebrate God&#8217;s future provision. The Bible says, &#8220;Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast (Feast of Tabernacles) to the&nbsp;LORD&nbsp;your God&#8230; because the LORD God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.&#8221; (Deuteronomy 16:15)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We also celebrate our eternal destiny with God in the New Heaven and new Earth, about which the Bible says, \u201cBehold,&nbsp;the tabernacle of God is&nbsp;with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be&nbsp;their God.&nbsp;And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;&nbsp;there shall be no more death,&nbsp;nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.\u201d (Revelation 21:3-4)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palm branches, booths, dance, and singing certain psalms are part of this joyful celebration.
