This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. (1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

Have you ever wondered how that experience would be? Listening to what our Lord said while He broke bread and took the cup. Would you be carefully processing what all these actually mean? It was the last Passover dinner Yeshua celebrated on earth before He died for us all. He commanded us to remember Him whenever we celebrate this Biblical festival, which was established by God in the Book of Exodus to remember God’s delieverance for His people from Egypt.

As a Law abiding perfect man, Yeshua observed all the details of God’s Law so that He can be the perfect Passover Lamb, the perfect sacrifice, to redeem us from sin. His blood was forshadowed by the blood of the Passover lamb that was smeared on the lintels and door posts of the homes of the children of Israel when they were slaves in Egypt.

In the Book of Exodus, God set a menu of what to eat in this Biblical festival. We believe that Yeshua used the same menu for Passover. The New Testament Bible gave meanings to some of the menu items, and we are expected to meditate on these meanings while celebrating Passover.

Nowadays, due to the development of Jewish traditions, Jewish Passover dinner (Sedar) would look a little different from what Yeshua had eaten. However, there was also a theory that the Jewish Passover manual, also called Hagaddah, was influenced by how first century Christians had Passover dinner, especially the way Yeshua did. That explained why there are similarities between Hagaddah and the Gospels’ account of the Last Supper.

“The Bible Experience” aims to help modern followers of Yeshua (Christians) celebrate Passover dinner the way that is closest to how Yeshua had celebrated it in the Last Supper. It will not look the same as a modern Jewish Passover Sedar.

How to Join:

All followers of Yeshua / Christians are welcome!

If your church wish to invite us to hold a Passover dinner at your venue, please Whatsapp 0420 220 784 to book your Passover dinner and discuss the details.
